Following a period with the Bank of New Zealand, Tony entered the world of racing, first as Secretary of Counties Racing Club and then as Secretary and now General Manager of the Waikato Racing Club, a position he has held for the past 25 years. As well as his interest in racing, Tony is a follower of both cricket and rugby.

Bev is the Waikato Racing Club's longest serving employee, having been with the Club for some 32 years. She has served her apprenticeship through various roles within the Club and is the current Administration Manager. Bev is a keen follower of rugby, particularly at Waikato and National levels.

Faye Bax was appointed Marketing Manager for the Club in 1995, following a long association in the thoroughbred industry. Her positions prior to this appointment included a period as Secretary of the Cambridge Jockey Club and Waikato Branch of the NZ Thoroughbred Breeders Association. Faye is a fitness enthusiast, and enjoys a regular game of tennis.

Neil Treweek

Neil has been in the racing industry since he was 15, commencing as an Apprentice Jockey and then turning to riding in jumping races due to increased weight, winning the majority of jumping races in New Zealand.  He then spent eight years training racehorses in Bulls and Cambridge, prior to turning to Racecourse Management.  Neil has been at the Te Rapa Racecourse since 1995 and during that period has been instrumental in making the Te Rapa track arguably one of the best racing surfaces in New Zealand.
